Booths and Learning

Booth A: Learning about materials used for water filtration system. Students will learn about water filtration and the various materials used to create an effective water filter device.

Booth B: Learning about alternative materials used in water filtration. Students will figure out alternative materials (ie. Leaves, cotton, cloth, etc) that they can use to increase effectivity and improve their water filtration device.

Booth C: Learning about Water Pressure
and Water Behavior through the use
of Water Pumps. Through experiments involving water pumps, students will learn about water pressure and the behavior of fluids, preparing them to recreate their own water pump experiments.

Booth D: Using water pressure knowledge
to solve water pump puzzles. Students will use their previous learnings to solve a series of water pump puzzles with progressing difficulty using the materials given to them. If they are stuck, they will be given clues so they can proceed with the puzzles.

Booth E: Learning about Elements, Bonds, and Salt Compounds. Students will grasp learn about atoms, elements and compound through the use of a specially designed card game. The students will combine anions and cations, learning about molecules around us.

Booth F: Impact of Water Pollution to Public Health and Safety. Students will learn about the common hazards posed by bacteria and toxic metals present in everyday water sources. This awareness equips them with essential knowledge to address potential health risks and promote safe water consumption practices.
